Joint projects of Montenegro and IR Iran in the field of culture soon

Pavle Goranović, Minister of Culture received a farewell visit of HE Mr. Majid Fahim Pour, non-resident Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Montenegro.

Minister Goranovic thanked Ambassador Pouru for his commitment to the establishment of good cooperation with Montenegro in the field of culture and said that culture is the basis for strengthening relations between the countries.

Ambassador Pour pointed out that, during his tenure, through several meetings with the Minister Goranović,
it has been established a good framework to begin implementation of specific joint projects between the two countries.

Earlier, it has been agreed harmonization of the Memorandum of cooperation between Montenegro and IR Iran, which will define the cooperation in several areas, particularly emphasizing the visual arts, cinema, translation, restoration of old manuscripts, cultural tourism...

In the spirit of the document whose signing will formalize cooperation between the two countries, it is proposed the organization of Days of Iranian film in Montenegro, with the support of the Cultural Center of Iran.

At the end of the meeting, the officials reiterated a strong interest in strengthening cooperation and closer connecting two cultures.
