General Director Rutović at the meeting of the OSCE - "Freedom of expression and freedom of the media including protection of journalists in armed conflicts"

At the invitation of the Permanent Council of the OSCE, Željko Rutović, General Director for Media and Miloš Lalević, Senior Advisor in the Directorate for the media, will participate in the second extra session on the human dimension, on the theme "Freedom of expression and freedom of the media including protection of journalists in armed conflict", which will be held in October 27 and 28 in Vienna.

Within the two-day meeting, there will be discussions about the role of the OSCE, the government and civil society role in the protection of media freedom during the crisis, the safety of journalists in armed conflict as well as the importance of media self-regulation as an instrument for the promotion of ethical standards and the fight against propaganda.
