PM Đukanović congratulates Municipality Day of Herceg Novi

Podgorica, Montenegro (28 October 2016) – Prime Minister Milo Đukanović congratulated, on behalf of the Government and in his own name, the President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi Nataša Aćimović and the President of the Municipal Assembly Andrija Radman, Municipal Assembly aldermen and citizens of Herceg Novi on the Municipality Day.

"Celebration of the Municipality Day is an opportunity, in the year of marking the tenth anniversary of the restoration of independence, to proudly recall the results achieved in the decade for us. With joint efforts we managed to bring Montenegro on a stable track of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In such environment, we have set the foundations of a stable and dynamic social and economic development. This is evidenced by a number of large development projects in infrastructure, energy and tourism, including the construction of a modern tourist resort Porto Novi, whose realisation is already reflected in the standard of living of our citizens and positioning of Montenegro as prestigious tourist destination and future member of NATO and the EU," the Prime Minister's letter reads.
