Minister of Defence Milica Pejanović Đurišić visited today the headquarters of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Capellen, Luxembourg, at the invitation of Agency's General Manager Peter Dohmen.

Dohmen informed Minister Pejanović Đurišić about the functioning of the Agency and its responsibilities. At the same time, he introduced her with the possible ways of support and the types of services provided primarily to the NATO member states, as well as to the interested partners in different areas of procurement.

The Minister expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the NSPA under the NATO Trust Fund for Montenegro in the field of demilitarisation of surplus ammunition and explosives, in order to eliminate potential threats to the citizens and the environment. She also expressed readiness to consider possibilities of improving cooperation with the NSPA, given that Montenegro would automatically become a member of this institution after being admitted to full membership in NATO.
