Details of exercise "Crna Gora 2016"

Tomorrow (Monday, 31 October 2016) begins a four-day international exercise "Crna Gora 2016". Note: The figures in the announcement on the portal of the Government differ from the figures sent to the media last week, since the announcement at the Government's web portal has been updated with new data. Also, the list of participating countries has been updated.

The program of the opening ceremony of exercise

The exercise will be opened lining up the participants and equipment at the police camp in Zlatica which is a base camp of the exercise.

9:00 - 9:30 am Opening Ceremony of the exercise. Director General of the Emergency Situations of Ministry of Interior Mirsad Milić and NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Operations John Manza will address at the ceremony.

9:30 - 10:20 am News teams can record the parts of the base camp and talk with participants of the exercise.

10:30 - 10:45 am Deputy Prime Minister for Political System and Internal and Foreign Policy Duško Marković will visit the base camp. The Deputy Prime Minister will give a public statement regarding the exercise following the visit.

The special place will be available for photographers and video cameramen, as well as audio distribution of the opening ceremony (and addressing of Mirsad Milić and John Manza).
Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with text of Mirsad Milić's and John Manza's addressing, as well as with photos and video recording of the ceremony and the statements. Video recording of DPM Marković's statement will be also provided.

Media representatives should be at the gate of the camp in Zlatica at 8:45 am at the latest (entrance at number 4 next to the gas station). In front of entrance is the parking lot that media representatives can use.

To enter the camp the special accreditation is not needed, but the journalists must show press card or the annual accreditation of the Government of Montenegro for 2016 alongside ID card.

The redactions will be informed later about the details regarding the exercise day which is open to the media (3 November 2016). The program is planned for the morning.

Recording of the arrival of teams in Montenegro

Throughout the day (Sunday, 30 October 2016) the majority of team participants arrived in Montenegro or are still arriving. Photos and video recording of the entry in Montenegro, i.e. of the crossing of state borders of the teams from Serbia (which entered Montenegro today around 12 am on the border crossing Dobrakovo (MNE) – Gostun (SRB)) and teams from Croatia, Slovenia and Austria (which entered Montenegro between 10 and 11 am at the border crossing Debeli Brijeg (MNE) – Krasovići (HR)) will be available to the media at the Government's FTP portal and Youtube channel by 17:30.
