Government to send revised Montenegro budget for 2016 to Parliament

Podgorica, Montenegro (8 November 2016) -- At today’s joint session, the Commission for Economic Policy and Financial System and the Commission for Political System, Internal and Foreign Policy of the Government of Montenegro discussed the Draft Law Amending the Law on Budget of Montenegro for 2016, which had been submitted by the Ministry of Finance, and proposed to the Government to approve the Draft Law, which provides for the total amount of EUR 2.031 billion, which is 100 million less comparing to the current budget.

Deputy Prime Minister Lazović for Economic Policy and Financial System said that the commissions unanimously adopted the decision and that, during the day, the Government will, without holding a meeting, make a decision to forward the Draft Law to the Parliament.
