Government approves emergency assistance to repair damage caused by floods and adopts Action Plan for implementation UNSC R1373
Podgorica, Montenegro (22 November 2016) -- Without holding a Cabinet Session and based on the obtained consent of the majority of its members, the Government of Montenegro accepted the Proposal for the allocation of financial assistance for the local governments to repair the damage caused by unfavorable weather conditions. At the proposal of the competent Commission, in order to mitigate the damage resulting from heavy rains and floods in November 2016, an emergency assistance in the total amount of 240,000 Eur was approved.
Based on the obtained consent of the majority of its members, the Government of Montenegro also adopted the Information on the shortcomings in implementing the United Nations Security Council Resolution R1373 in Montenegro, identified in the MONEYVAL fourth round evaluation report on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures in Montenegro, as well as it adopted the Action Plan for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution R1373.
