The Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications of Montenegro is one of the founders of Cybersecurity Alliance for Mutual Progress - CAMP, which was officially launched on July 11, 2016, at the inaugural meeting held in Seoul, South Korea.

The initiative for the establishment of the CAMP launched the Korean Agency for Internet Security (Korean Internet Security Agency - KISA), and the Alliance will serve as global advisory body for raising awareness about cyber threats and to strengthen cross-border ties in the development of countermeasures to address the growing threats from cyber space.

CAMP activities will include development of the capacity of member countries through courses, and it is planned to create a 'hotline', which would serve as a common system for responding to emergencies in cyberspace.
At the inaugural meeting in Seoul, besides representatives of the Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications of Montenegro, also attended about 80 senior officials from 29 member countries of the CAMP who discussed the future activities of the Union.

From July 7, 2016, 38 organizations worldwide officially joined the Alliance, while another three foreign governments plan to join soon. Countries and organizations that are interested, can become members, after the majority of the founding members approved the request.

The CAMP is a partner to reputable global organizations from various sectors, including the World Bank and Oxford University.
Members voted that the Alliance is chaired by KISA, which mandate will last for three years.
