Tenth Meeting of SEE Ministers of Agriculture to be held in Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro (24 November 2016) -- Montenegro will be the host of the annual meeting of South-East Europe ministers of agriculture this year. Montenegro will take over the chairmanship of the Standing Working Group for Rural Development (SWG) at the tenth ministerial meeting which will be held on 25 November in Bečići.

Ministers and senior representatives in the field of agriculture and rural development of the SEE countries, EU countries, European Commission, as well as the representatives of SWG, will discuss topics related to the convergence of the SEE countries to the EU in this field, as well as the opportunities to improve the possibilities for cooperation between the countries of the region on this path.

The meeting will be held at the hotel Splendid, starting at 9.00 am and will be opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Budimir Mugoša.

Representatives of an international and donor organisations will also participate in this working meeting.
