Steering Committee meeting for Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) to be held tomorrow

Podgorica, Montenegro (5 December 2016) – The Steering Committee meeting for the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) will be held on Tuesday, 6 December 2016, in the EU Info Centre, starting at 3 p.m. The effectiveness, quality and usefulness of implementation of programmes and projects financed by the European Union will be discussed at the meeting, as well as activities within the preparation of programmes and activities which will be financed through EU funds in the next period.

The meeting will be co-chaired by Minister of European Affairs and National IPA Coordinator Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, on behalf of the Government of Montenegro, and by Director for the Western Balkans at the Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission Genoveva Ruiz Calavera, on behalf of the European Commission.
