Government's permanent working bodies consider Draft Law on Budget for 2017

Podgorica, Montenegro (16 December 2016) – Permanent working bodies of the Government – Commission for Economic Policy and Financial System and Commission for Political System, Internal and Foreign Affairs –held on Friday, 16 December 2016, the fourth session on whose agenda, among other things, was Draft Law on Budget for 2017.

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System Milutin Simović said that today's debate was preceded by a series of considerations of revenue and expenditure of the budget users and foreign partners and that the proposed budget represents the best deal possible in the present situation.

The Government will consider the proposed budget for 2017 at the Cabinet session on Sunday, 18 December. The press conference, at which the public will be informed in detail of the proposed budget, will be held following the Cabinet session.
