Meeting of DPM Zoran Pažin and Ambassador of Turkey in Montenegro Serhat Galip

Podgorica, Montenegro (19 December 2016) -- „Montenegro and the Republic of Turkey inherit a rich history of mutual relations that improve continuously to the mutual satisfaction“ – this was concluded during the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Interior and Foreign Policy Zoran Pažin and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Montenegro Serhat Galip, which was held today in the office of Deputy Prime Minister.

The Ambassador Galip congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Pažin on his new position and said that the bilateral relations between two countries are very good and friendly, and it will be further strengthened in the future.

Deputy Prime Minister Pažin and Ambassador Galip agreed that the investments represent one of the most important instruments, through which a national economy can encourage production, employment growth, infrastructure development and poverty reduction.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Pažin pointed out the existence of good mutual relations in all spheres of social life. He expressed his appreciation for the contribution of the Republic of Turkey and stressed that the success of economic relations and continuous political dialogue are the confirmation of the quality of intensive cooperation.

In the end, the officials agreed that Montenegro is an example of a successful multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural country for both the region and the world.
