Prime Minister Marković hosts delegation of Montenegro's war veterans

Podgorica, Montenegro (16 January 2016) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković hosted earlier today a delegation of the Association of War Veterans of the People's Liberation War of Montenegro (SUBNOR), headed by the organisation’s president Ljubomir Sekulić.

Prime Minister Marković expressed his full appreciation for the engagement of the war veterans’ organisation in all important state’s projects, emphasising its significant contribution to the preservation and promotion of anti-fascism, as one of the greatest achievements of the Montenegrin society.

Government will support the SUBNOR’s activities ahead of the 6th congress of the war veterans’ organisation, as well as its specific programme activities of which the representatives of the veterans informed Prime Minister Marković.

The Prime Minister pledged support to the SUBNOR delegation-s initiative to devote due attention to the memorial complex on the Gorica Hill in Podgorica in order to preserve and protect the monument to Partisan Fighter, as a symbol of freedom and victory.
