Minister of Foreign Affairs Darmanović to pay official visit to Slovak Republic

Podogrica, Montenegro (24 January 2017) –Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović will pay on 25 and 26 January an official visit to the Slovak Republic, at the invitation of Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Miroslav Lajčak.
Minister Darmanović will also meet with other senior officials of Slovakia.
During his visit to the Slovak Republic, Minister Darmanović will present implementation of foreign policy priorities, highlight the need to accelerate the ratification of the Protocol on the Accession of Montenegro to NATO, and summarise the results of the negotiations with the EU following Slovak presidency of the Council of the EU. He will also express gratitude for Slovakia's political and expert support to Montenegro from the beginning of reform and integration processes.
The opening of the Honorary Consulate of Montenegro in Bratislava is also scheduled.
