PR ServicePodgorica, Montenegro (10 February 2016) -- Good economic cooperation between Montenegro and Serbia needs to be further strengthened and stimulated through better infrastructure connections, Prime Minister Duško Marković and Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić concluded at today's meeting in Podgorica.

Two officials discussed bilateral cooperation, especially in tourism, as well as possibilities of joint action in the markets of third countries.

They emphasised the importance of peace and stability in the region for the overall progress of society and creating conditions for better life of citizens. In that context, the meeting particularly underscored the role of Montenegro as a factor of stability.

Prime Minister Marković thanked the Serbian Government for their hospitality during last week's official visit of the Montenegrin delegation, noting that it will give an additional incentive to the implementation of agreements and concrete projects in various fields.
