Defence Minister Bošković to participate in meeting of North Atlantic Council

Podgorica, Montenegro (14 February 2017) – On 15 and 16 February, Minister of Defence Predrag Bošković will participate in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Defence Ministers in Brussels.

During the two-day meeting ministers will analyse the current work, exchange opinions and views on issues that are among the top priorities of the Alliance, such as the Alliance's ability to respond to modern threats and adapt to the changing security environment, the strengthening of collective defence and defining common response to potential threats, as well as cooperation with the European Union in areas of common interest.

Minister Bošković will hold bilateral meeting with the Minister of Defence of the United Kingdom Michael Fallon, with whom he will sign a memorandum on cooperation between Montenegro and Great Britain, as well as with the Ministers of Defence of the Republic of Italy Roberto Pinotti and the Republic of Greece Panos Kammenos.
