PM Marković congratulates his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić on Statehood Day

Podgorica, Montenegro (14 February 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković sent a letter to his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić on the occasion of 15 February – the Statehood Day of Serbia, stating that this day is an opportunity to remind ourselves that the bilateral relations between the two countries, based on traditional closeness and connection, are improving year in year out and that, nowadays, can serve as an example of comprehensive cooperation in all fields.

"I highly appreciate your personal contribution to the development of bilateral ties between Serbia and Montenegro and I would like to assure you that the Government of Montenegro, and I personally, will be your reliable partner in further advancement of our relations, both when it comes to joint contribution to peace, stability and dialogue in our region, and in terms of intensification of our economic cooperation, as well as an overall understanding on all issues relevant to our two peoples," Prime Minister Marković stresses in his congratulatory message to Aleksandar Vučić.
