Munich, Germany (18 February 2017) -- Members of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the both US parties strongly support Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic Accession Process, the meeting between PM Marković and a group of the US Congress representatives headed by the Senator John McCain stressed.
During the meeting held within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, members of the legislative authority highlighted that the ratification of Montenegro’s NATO Accession Protocol is unquestionable, adding that it is just a matter of time when it will happen. The officials of the both chambers commended Montenegro and voiced belief that the US is willing to continue providing support to the country in the reform process and economic development.
PM Marković thanked the officials for the continuing support of not only the Senate and the House of Representatives, but also the entire American administration and the people of America in terms of strengthening democracy and boosting overall development of Montenegro.
