Minister Bošković attends International Defence Exhibition and Conference

Abu Dhabi, UAE (20 February 2017) -- Minister of Defence Predrag Bošković visited 13^th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) today. On this occasion, he visited an Exhibition of naval (NAIEX) and (IDEX) other weapons, and met with more exhibitors with whom he discussed the cooperation in the field of equipment and modernisation of the Army of Montenegro.

Minister Bošković was welcomed by representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates. After visiting the Exhibition, he laid a wreath at the Wahat Al Karama memorial to UAE’s fallen soldiers.

Montenegrin Minister of Defence will stay in Abu Dhabi until Wednesday, at the invitation of Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Defence His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Minister Bošković will have several bilateral meetings with representatives of the host state and the UAE Ministry of Defence, as well as representatives of the armed forces of the countries attending this important event.

IDEX represents a unique platform for establishing and strengthening of cooperation with an international governmental agencies, companies and armed forces. More than 1 200 international exhibitors participate in this year's IDEX's Exhibition.
