PM Marković to pay official visit to Hungary
Prime
Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković
will pay an official visit to Budapest on Friday, 24 February 2017, at the
invitation of Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor
Orbán.
The
Prime Miniter will also meet with the President of Hungary János Áder.
Taking
into account that Hungary uncoditianally supported the European and
Euro-Atlantic path of Montenegro, this visit represents an opportunity to
improve the economic cooperation as well as cooperation in the field of law
enforcement and police jurisdiction, in the context of global security
challenges – migrants, terrorism and organised crime activities.
In
this respect, the officials will sign the Statement of understanding on
launching direct air line between Podgorica and Budapest, Statement of
understanding on cooperation between the Ministers of Interior, as well as the
Protocol between Montenegro and Hungary on readmission of persons who do not
have a residence permit/visa, which refers to the execution of the Agreement
concluded between the European Union and Montenegro.
The
delegation, headed by Prime Minister Marković, includes also ministers of
foreign affairs, the interior and economy, Srđan
Darmanović, Mevludin Nuhodžić
and Dragica Sekulić.
