Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković will pay an official visit to Budapest on Friday, 24 February 2017, at the invitation of Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.

Taking into account that Hungary uncoditianally supported the European and Euro-Atlantic path of Montenegro, this visit represents an opportunity to improve the economic cooperation as well as cooperation in the field of law enforcement and police jurisdiction, in the context of global security challenges – migrants, terrorism and organised crime activities.

In this respect, the officials will sign the Statement of understanding on launching direct air line between Podgorica and Budapest, Statement of understanding on cooperation between the Ministers of Interior, as well as the Protocol between Montenegro and Hungary on readmission of persons who do not have a residence permit/visa, which refers to the execution of the Agreement concluded between the European Union and Montenegro.

The delegation, headed by Prime Minister Marković, includes also ministers of foreign affairs, the interior and economy, Srđan Darmanović, Mevludin Nuhodžić and Dragica Sekulić.
