Seventh meeting of Sub-Committee on Justice, Freedom and Security
Podgorica, Montenegro (13 March 2017) – The seventh meeting of the Sub-Committee on Justice, Freedom and Security between the European Commission and Montenegro will take place on 14 and 15 March 2017 in Podgorica.
The meeting will be opened by Minister of European Affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejović and Acting Head of Montenegrin Unit in the Directorate General of the European Commission for neighbourhood policy and enlargement negotiations Thomas Hagleitner.
The participants will discuss justice reform and fundamental rights, as well as progress in the area of fight against corruption and organised crime, fight against human trafficking, illicit drug suppression, fight against terrorism and anti-radicalisation. The participants will also discuss following topics: migration and asylum, border management, and visa policy.
The meeting will be held at the Plenary Hall in the Old Government building.
