Prime Minister Marković congratulates Aleksandar Vučić

Podgorica, Montenegro (3 April 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Aleksandar Vučić on winning Serbia’s presidential elections.

"I am convinced that Serbia, under your strong leadership, will continue to play a constructive role in the Western Balkans and that you will remain sincerely committed to maintaining peace, stability and European perspective of our countries.

I emphasise the fact that your victory in the presidential elections opens up new prospects for intensive cooperation between Montenegro and Serbia in all fields of mutual interest. The closeness of our peoples points to the closest ties, to which you, as the Prime Minister of Serbia, made an undoubted contribution over the past years.

I firmly believe that a new era of strong cooperation, based on trust and friendship that we have already developed, is ahead of us," Prime Minister Marković's congratulations letter to Aleksandar Vučić reads.
