Director of Tax Administration: Nearly 5,500 tax debtors request rescheduling of around 184 million of debt

Podgorica, Montenegro (5 April 2017) – Director of the Tax Administration Miomir M. Mugoša announced earlier today that 5,435 requests for rescheduling of 184,879,325.47 EUR of tax debt have been submitted so far and more than 1.8 million has been already collected.

"These taxpayers and all those who did not apply for rescheduling have obligations to duly fulfill current obligations. All available resources of the Tax Administration will be used in order that one of the operational measures of the Tax Administration covers every single euro of the public money or the money of Montenegrin citizens," Mr Mugoša said at the press conference.

Director of the Tax Administration published a "black list" of tax debtors, saying that 127 taxpayers owe 101,902,265.59 EUR.

He expressed his absolute confidence that the measures of the Tax Administration will manage to collect 28.8 million of tax debt planned for this year.
