PM Marković congratulates Dejan Savićević on appointment as member of FIFA Council

Podgorica, Montenegro (5 April, 2017) -- Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković congratulated President of Football Association of Montenegro Dejan Savićević on an appointment as member of The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA; "International Federation of Association Football").

“In the same way we all felt pride about your quality football during glittering playing career, this great recognition for your huge contribution to the overall development of football in Montenegro has made every friend of sports in our country to be proud.

I am confident that you will continue to contribute to the progress of this sport at a new high position in the world's home of football, both on all meridians and in Montenegro.

I wish you a long and successful work in the company of the leading figures in the world of football,” Prime Minister Marković stated in the congratulation letter.
