Minister Vučinović takes part in conference entitled "NATO - added value in the Balkans"

Podgorica, Montenegro (23 March 2017) -- Minister without portfolio Marija Vučinović participated in the conference entitled "NATO - the added value in the Balkans," sponsored by the Center for Monitoring and Research (CEMI), in cooperation with the NATO Membership Council's Communication Team

The conference concentrated on the current position of Montenegro in the context of international relations, as well as the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of the country

Minister Vučinović referred to the benefits from NATO membership for Montenegro and its citizens, noting that joining the Alliance would make its defence system of our country absolutely highly efficient, given that terrorism and all the other threats the world is facing today know no boundaries. She added that it is a great error of judgement to think that Montenegro would be safer outside NATO.
