Boskovic met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Veselko Grubišić

Minister of defence Predrag Boskovic met today with the newly appointed Croatian Ambassador to Montenegro, H.E. Veselko Grubisic.

Boskovic thanked for the continued support of the Republic of Croatia to Montenegrin process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and stressed that cooperation between the two countries and its friendly relationship can serve as an example for other countries in the region.

The minister emphasized the value of joint participation in the mission "Resolute Support" in Afghanistan, but also the great contribution which is achieved through education of Montenegrin cadets and officers at the Croatian military academies, cooperation between navies and air forces, as well as joint participation in regional exercises and initiatives.

Ambassador Grubisic expressed his belief that the upcoming visit of the Minister Boskovic of Croatia will generate new ideas on joint action and contribution of our countries to the collective security. Stressing the openness and willingness of Croatia for the continuation of cooperation through friendly and partnership relations, he expressed interest in the implementation of all the activities which would enable two countries to further strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation.
