Prime Minister Marković wishes happy Victory Day over Fascism

Podgorica, Montenegro (9 May 2017) – Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the leadership and members of the Association of War Veterans of the People's Liberation War and Anti-Fascists of Montenegro on the occasion of 9 May – Victory Day over Fascism.

"As a part of big anti – fascist coalition, Montenegro made a strong contribution to defending civilisational foundations, democratic values and right to life of every individual and every nation. Modern Montenegro was founded on anti – fascism and these values helped the country restore independence and pursue its strategic and national goals side by side with the most developed countries,“ PM Marković stated in his congratulatory letter.

PM Marković emphasised that the leadership and members of the Association of War Veterans of the People's Liberation War and Anti-Fascists of Montenegro play an important role in cherishing anti – fascist tradition, adding that the Government of Montenegro is willing to support them in pursuing this goal.
