Delegation of Government of Montenegro participates in 8th IIICF in PRC

Delegation of Montenegro, headed by Minister of Traffic and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković, attended the opening ceremony of the 8th International Infrastructure and Construction Investment Forum (IIICF) in Macao, China. The theme of this year's Forum is "Cooperation for a Multi-Innovative Sustainable Infrastructure That Stimulates Economic Development".

On that occasion, the Montenegrin delegation met with the management of the Chinese company CCECC, which is engaged in the general overhaul of the Kolašin-Kos railway section.

Minister Nurković thanked Managing Director of the company Juan Lee for the donation in the form of a Study Evaluation Project for the general overhaul of unfinished sections of the railway section from Trebesica to Bar. The common assessment is that full valorisation of the Port of Bar can only be achieved by further investment in the roads and railroads.

An International Forum dedicated to Infrastructure and Civil Engineering Investments, organised by the Ministry of Trade of China, China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) , brings together about 1,500 civil engineers, state officials and researchers from over 60 countries and regions.
