Minister Pejović to open 9th meeting of Civil Joint Consultative Committee
The 9th meeting of the Civil Joint Consultative Committee between the European Union and Montenegro (JCC) will be held on 8 and 9 June in Budva.
The meeting will be opened by Minister of European Affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejović and Head of Montenegro Unit of the Directorate General for Enlargement of the EC Thomas Hagleitner.
Representatives of the European and Montenegrin delegation will discuss the most important issues related to public health policy and free movement of goods, as well as the state of civil society in Montenegro, after which they will adopt Joint Declaration with recommendations related to the discussed areas.
The introductory meeting will be held on 8 June at the Residence Hotel, Miločer, Budva, at 19:00.
The media can record the opening remarks of the Minister Pejović and Mr Hagleitner. The press release will be published following the meeting.
The JCC is a civil society platform established between the EESC and Montenegrin civil society. This joint institution allows civil society organisations on both sides to monitor the country's accession negotiations.
