US Vice President Mike Pence to pay official visit to Montenegro

PR ServicePodgorica, Montenegro (29 June 2017) -- US Vice President Mike Pence will soon pay an official visit to Montenegro at the invitation of Prime Minister Duško Marković.

The visit, which will follow after the recent meetings of Prime Minister Marković with Vice President Pence and State Secretary Rex Tilllerson in Washington, is another confirmation of the excellent political relations and the strategic partnership between Montenegro and the United States.

Prime Minister Marković invited Vice President Pence to visit Montenegro during the official talks held at the White House on 5 June this year.

Vice President Pence is the highest US official to visit Montenegro over a hundred years since the two countries established diplomatic relations. In parallel, it will be the first visit to the region by the top official and the first associate of US President Donald Trump.

US Vice President Mike Pence will also meet with President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović.
