Montenegro to hosts special meeting of members of US - Adriatic Charter (A5)

Podgorica, Montenegro (29 June 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković will be the host of a special meeting of the leaders of the US - Adriatic Charter (A5) member states. The summit will take place in Podgorica on 2 August and will be also attended by the United States Vice President Mike Pence.

It will be the most important international gathering held in Montenegro, as the calls for participation have been sent to the leaders of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Macedonia, which together with Montenegro form the US - Adriatic Charter (A5), as well as to the countries with observer status - Serbia, Kosovo and Slovenia.

The US - Adriatic Charter is currently chaired by Macedonia, which will, together with Montenegro, co-host the special meeting in Podgorica on 2 August.
