PM Marković, CANU President Vukčević: Synergy between Government and Academy strenghtened

Podgorica, Montenegro (30 June 2017) -- Government of Montenegro and the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU) strengthened the cohesion and synergy the State requires and achieved notable results in terms of boosting their relations in the first half of this year, Prime Minister Duško Marković and the CANU President Dragan Vukčević agreed at today's meeting in Podgorica.

It was noted that new impulses, given during the visit of the Prime Minister to the CANU in December last year, enabled better cooperation between the Academy and line ministries, while working intensively on numerous agreed projects.

Thanking PM Marković for his personal contribution to improving cooperation, CANU President DraganVukčević informed him about plans for the implementation of new CANU projects that are of significance for the State and, above all, for the strengthening of identity. He said that the Academy is open to new people and pointed to the increasing interest of young people.
