Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić on her appointment and wished her success during the term.

PM Marković noted that this is opportunity to once again confirm the readiness to contribute to the strengthening of interstate relations through intensive political dialogue and valorisation of significant potentials for economic cooperation, especially in the field of economy, tourism, infrastructure and energy.

The Prime Minister added that he is sure that Brnabić's official visit to Montenegro at the beginning of the term would give an important incentive to fulfillment of this goal, as the first international visit of PM Marković after assuming the office of the Prime Minister of Montenegro was a visit to the Republic of Serbia.

"On the basis of constructive and friendly talks with the former Prime Minister Vučić and his associates, I am convinced that we will continue to work together to strengthen the overall relations between our countries," PM's congratulatory letter reads.

Prime Minister Marković also expressed belief that continued cooperation and exchange of experiences in meeting the obligations of the European agenda will give momentum to political stability and democratic progress of the region.
