Government to provide EUR 200,000 to support Sea Dence Festival

Podgorica, Montenegro (12 July 2017) -- Given the significance of the Sea Dance Festival for the Montenegrin tourism industry, both for the economy and promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination, the Government decided at today's session to support the festival with EUR 200,000, State Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism and Sustainable Development Damir Davidović told the press conference following the Cabinet session.

"This is an increase compared to 2016, as the Municipality of Budva, due to the difficult economic situation, has announced that the funds that it will pay in support of the festival this year will be significantly lower," Mr Davidovic explained.
