The first official visit of minister Bošković to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia after Montenegro's full-fledged membership in NATO

Defence Minister Predrag Bošković met today with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, Andreja Katič. It was an opportunity for the ministers to, in a friendly atmosphere, exchange impressions on the last meeting of the NATO ministerial, as well as to exchange information on the dynamics of the realization of the agreed bilateral cooperation.

Minister Andreja Katič expressed readiness for donating an applicable solution for the needs of automated monitoring of the state and the flow of material assets, but also for possible cooperation in the field of gunpowder stability testing. In the previous period, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia has invested significant financial resources in order to develop the capacities, which makes it european leader in this field.

In addition to already agreed forms of cooperation, the Ministers exchanged information on plans in the field of modernization, and in that sense expressed readiness for joint cooperation, with the aim of maintaining a stable basis of mutual cooperation between the two countries, a members of NATO. In this context, Minister Bošković expressed his satisfaction with the current level of cooperation with the belief that Montenegro will continue to take major steps in the process of developing a security and political situation.
