PM Marković opens Hotel Berane: Congratulations, I am impressed
Prime Minister Duško Marković opened earlier today the reconstructed Hotel Berane in Berane. About EUR 2 million was invested in the reconstruction of the hotel, while the total investment was about 4.5 million.
I am really fascinated. From the beginning, I followed the idea and development of this project and strongly supported it because this is not just a project for Berane, it is also important for the Northern Region and for Montenegro. I congratulate the investor and his team and I believe that this will be a new impetus for the development of Berane and the North and the valorisation of all the potentials that the North has, and the Government is strongly, as you know, both through my programme and through my specific behaviour, committed to the development of North's potentials in a proper way, and that the citizens of the North improve quality of their lives and thus contribute to their own self, their families and the state. Therefore, congratulations for this project. I am impressed, PM Marković said.
Hotel Berane, built in 1964, was renovated in 18 months. The new hotel with the area of 7.000 m2 has capacity of 80 beds. It is equipped with a congress hall. It is planned to open a SPA centre with a swimming pool, a sauna and a Turkish bath, as well as restored car camp.
During his working visit to Berane with the President of the Municipality, the Prime Minister visited Arte Home, which produces furniture, and Elit Montenegro, tourist and recreation centre in Buče. The Prime Minister also visited a new sports hall.
