US Vice President Mike Pence to pay official visit to Montenegro on Tuesday and Wednesday

US Vice President Mike Pence will arrive Tuesday for an official two-day visit to Montenegro at the invitation of Prime Minister Duško Marković.

Official talks between Prime Minister Marković and Vice President Pence will be held on Wednesday, 2 August before noon.

Following the meeting, a press release will be issued.

Visit of the US Vice President is another confirmation of the excellent political relations between Montenegro and the United States and the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Prime Minister Marković invited Vice President Pence to pay an official visit during official talks held at the White House on 5 June this year.

Vice President Pence is the highest US official to visit Montenegro over a hundred years since the two countries established diplomatic relations. In parallel, it will be the first visit to the region by the US top official and first associate of US President Donald Trump.

US Vice President will participate in the US – Adriatic Charter Summit, which will take place in Podgorica on Wednesday.
