PM Marković hosts US Ambassador: American investments are particularly important, we need to accelerate removal of business barriers

Podgorica, Montenegro (23 March 2017) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković hosted today Ambassador of the United States of America Margaret Ann Uyehara.

The meeting discussed the possibilities of further investment from the United States to Montenegro, as well as the challenges of American investors who already operate in our country. Prime Minister Marković pointed out that investments from the United States have a special importance for our country. In this context, he reiterated previously expressed determination and willingness of the Prime Minister's Cabinet to accelerate the removal of business barriers in cooperation with investors.

The meeting was attended by the new Deputy Head of Mission Judy Kuo, Deputy Head of Political and Economic Section at the US Embassy Vivek Joshi and Foreign Investment Advisor Vladimir Beratović.
