PM Marković wishes happy Eid al-Adha: Our achievements are result of multi-ethnic and multi-religious harmony we cherish

Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated, on behalf of the Government of Montenegro and on his own behalf, Head of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Reis Rifat Fejzić and all citizens of the Islamic religion in Montenegro on the upcoming Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.

"The festive spirit of Eid al-Adha, which symbolises happiness and family harmony, reminds us again of the fundamental values of humanity and profound need to help poorer ones and protect weaker ones, even when they do not ask for it. By choosing to perform responsible work of government officials, we are in particular committed to such doing and I am confident that our previous achievements concerning restoration of independence, building a society of social justice and the rule of law, are in substantial part the result of a multi-ethnic and multi-religious harmony that we cherish, for the benefit of all citizens of Montenegro. Wishing that the upcoming feast days breathe new impetus into the lives of all believers, and to continue to spread the noble values of this great holiday, I extend to you my sincere greetings," the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter reads.
