On 31 August 2017, Minister of Science Dr. Sanja Damjanović met with the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, informing him about the upcoming steps and plans in the further implementation of the Initiative to establish the international scientific institute for sustainable technologies in South East Europe.
On the occasion, President Vujanović expressed his full support for the project, as well as an assurance that the Initiative would obtain the necessary support and cooperation of the countries of the region given that it was a scientific peace project.
