Prime Minister Duško Marković said at the opening of Voli Logistics and Distribution Centre that the building of 16,000 square meters is another opportunity to promote a successful investment in the real sector of the Montenegrin economy that provides new jobs and the most up-to-date working conditions.

"As you know, we are determined to support with all our capacities successful companies and firms, and all businessmen who make profits and carry out their obligations towards the State. I have said before that we do not want the State to be the most desirable employer – but it must be capable and successful businessmen who have ideas and knowledge to develop and expand their business, and contribute to overall development. Today, we are just in one such place, with businessman whose vision and business commitment create new values," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister estimated that the new facility of VOLI will influence the production and distribution chain in Montenegro and that this will be particularly reflected in trade, tourism, agriculture and transport, which will very rapidly affect economic growth.

"This facility opens up new opportunities to buyers for the supply of raw materials and goods, as well as more economical purchase of quality products from domestic manufacturers. This will, in addition to the effects on the production-purchase chain, also contribute to increasing the competitiveness of domestic producers from the aspect of transportation and storage of products. The investment of VOLI, in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is also a partner of the Government of Montenegro, is a confirmation of the strengthening of the entrepreneurial society and the real sector of our economy. The Government will, precisely in this segment of development, alone and in cooperation with local self-governments, continuously provide an incentive ambience and a more favorable normative-institutional framework. In the realisation of this commitment, we expect even more successful cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development," the Prime Minister said.

Congratulating to the company Voli, the Prime Minister said that the Government is aware that the business environment is of great importance for the realisation of new investments.
"We will do everything not only to maintain it, but also to further improve it, in order to bring the citizens' living standards closer to the standards existing in developed societies in the shortest possible time," Prime Minister Duško Marković concluded.
