PM Marković congratulates cadet water polo national team: You are pride of everyone in Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 September 2017) -- On the occasion of winning the first place at the European Water Polo Championship for cadets, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Montenegro's national team players, coach, coaching staff and Water Polo and Swimming Federation.

“The effort and dedication you showed in the finals, and the love for your country during the entire competition in Malta, serve for pride to your families, coaches, and everyone in Montenegro.

I am particularly pleased with the fact that each of you plays for the Team, and knows that only a Team wins! Therefore, I believe this is only the beginning of our golden generation of water polo players.

A sporty summer in which young basketball players dressed us with silver, and you with golden medal, is the announcement of the best results and great athletes. The government remains committed to creating even better conditions for training and working with younger teams, in order to continue to grow up top athletes in Montenegro,” PM Marković’s congratulatory message states.
