PM Marković in Zürich: Mövenpick Hotels & Resort interested in investments in Montenegrin tourism

Zürich, Switzerland (18 September 2017) -- Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković met today in Zürich with President and CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resort Olivier Chavy, with whom he held talks on the investments of this company in Montenegrin tourism.

Chavy informed Prime Minister Marković about the intention of Mövenpick to place Montenegro in the map of its tourist destinations which covers twenty-four countries around the world, with nearly 100 hotels under the Mövenpick brand. He expressed interest in hotels in the Montenegrin coast, but also in hotels in the northern part of Montenegro, as well as in the construction of a new hotel at the Podgorica airport, after its reconstruction and capacity expansion.

Prime Minister Marković expressed the Government's willingness to create all the assumptions for a renowned hotel chain, such as Mövenpick, to extend its business to Montenegro. In this regard, continuation of communication with Mövenpick representatives during their upcoming visit to Montenegro was agreed.
