Minister Damjanović participates in 61st General Conference of IAEA

Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović, who leads delegation of Montenegro at the 61st General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, addressed the delegates of the member countries of the Agency, noting in her presentation the outstanding results Montenegro achieved so far in cooperation with the IAEA and the potential joint activities in the following period.

The Minister particularly emphasised the importance of the cooperation for Montenegro in the priority areas, which is reflected in the concrete support to the country through procurement of capital equipment for institutions, i.e. through the staff training in eminent foreign institutions / laboratories.

Continuation of cooperation would also refer to the approval of new projects, as well as the support of the IAEA in the implementation of the Initiative for the Establishment of the International Scientific Institute for Sustainable Technologies of South East Europe.
