Bikaš: Montenegro for the first time at the DECI Initiative Conference

Chief of Defense of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, General Ljubiša Jokić participated yesterday and today at the Conference of DECI Initiative (Defense Cooperation Initiative –DECI) which is held in Bikaš, Hungary.

General Jokić emphasized that DECI Initiative represents excellent framework for full integration in NATO, contribution to the NATO force structure and NATO command structure as well as the EU Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP).

He stressed that this Initiative is good platform for developing the regional cooperation as well as for enhancing the security in the region which has huge significance for Montenegro since the beginning of its Euro Atlantic integrations.

Montenegro is new member of DECI Initiative and for the first time participates at this meeting.

DECI Initiative exists since 2002. Beside our country, its members are Austria, Albania, Croatia, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia.
