VIDEO: Minister Damjanović takes part in the 61st Regular Session of IAEA General Conference
Minister of Science of Montenegro Dr. Sanja Damjanović, who led the Delegation of Montenegro in the 61st Regular Session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, addressed the delegates of the member states of the Agency, reflecting in her address on the exceptional results that have been achieved in cooperation of Montenegro with the IAEA so far, as well as on potential joint activities in the coming period.
The Minister particularly emphasized the importance of the past cooperation for the state of Montenegro in the priority areas, which is reflected in the concrete support to the country through procurement of capital equipment for institutions, i.e. through the training of staff in prominent foreign institutions / laboratories.
Support was provided, as the head of the Montenegrin Delegation pointed out, through the sending of numerous IAEA expert missions to Montenegro as well. The continuation of cooperation would, in addition to the already started projects, also refer to the approval of new projects, as well as to the support of the IAEA in the implementation of the Initiative to Establish the International Scientific Institute for Sustainable Technologies of South East Europe.
