PM Marković congratulates German Chancellor Merkel on her election victory

"This election result confirms that German voters strongly support the strategic direction of your internal and foreign policies, while at the same time opening up room for further implementation of your Government's key economic and political goals," PM Marković outlined in his congratulation letter.

"I am confident that this will contribute to stronger and more stable Europe, where the Western Balkans region will also find its place. Montenegro is genuinely and unreservedly committed to such a vision of the region and Europe, and I also want to assure you that you will have a reliable partner in achieving this goal in the Government of Montenegro and me," PM Marković pointed out.

Montenegro is interested in boosting bilateral relations with Germany at all levels, PM Marković emphasised, adding that he discussed this issue with Chancellor Merkel on the sidelines of the Trieste Summit held in July this year.
