Montenegrin delegation participates in 6th ministerial meeting of WB PET

Montenegrin delegation led by Minister of Education Damir Šehović will attend the Sixth Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training (WB PET), which will take place in Belgrade from on 28 and 29 September 2017.

Delegations of Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo will also attend the annual meeting, as well as representatives of the European Commission and international organisations.

The meeting represents an opportunity to mark the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme, focusing on two topics of relevance to the region: strengthening research capacity in higher education and examining the need for greater inter-regional mobility.

WB PET was launched on 7 March 2012. The goals of the Platform are to help candidate countries and to prepare potential candidate countries better for their possible participation in the European framework of cooperation.
