PM Marković congratulates Yom Kippur: Montenegro makes progress in establishing society based on grounds of coexistence, democracy and dialogue

On behalf of the Government and his own, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the Jewish Community in Montenegro on the occasion of Yom Kippur.
In his congratulation letter, PM Marković stressed that Yom Kippur as a day of reconciliation reminds us that forgiveness and peace among the people represent a foundation of welfare in the family and the whole community. Only a complex society is a guarantee of prosperity, PM Marković underlined, adding that only on the basis of a common interest our country can become more successful and prosperous. “I believe that this holiday will encourage people of all nations and religions to contribute to the country’s progress in all aspects of life”, PM Marković pointed out in his congratulation letter to the President of Jewish Community in Montenegro Jaši Alfandri.
Wishing the President of the Jewish Community in Montenegro good health and welfare, PM Marković underlined that Montenegro is an example of society that is making progress by following the principles of coexistence, democracy and dialogue and pursuing the highest civilisational values.
