PM Marković with leadership of municipality of Ulcinj: This area should demonstrate Montenegro’s development path

Ulcinj, Montenegro (10 October 2017) – Prime Minister Duško Marković paid visit to the municipality of Ulcinj, where he met with the President of the municipality of Ulcinj Nazif Cungu and vice-president of the Municipal Assembly Ljoro Nrekić. 

“Sustainable development of Ulcinj is very important for development of Montenegro. If we succeed to implement development plan, Ulcinj will become the wealthiest municipality in the country,” PM Marković highlighted, adding that development of Ulcinj is an important indicator of the overall development of Montenegro.

PM Marković stressed that the local authorities have set out well determined priorities, particularly when it comes to the infrastructure development. 

The meeting also agreed the establishment of the group of experts for launching negotiations with Albania on the extension of the cross-border Sukobin – Muriqan (Murićan).
